Deviousness |
Well, if you think about it, if the world were fair- it would likely explode. The notion of being 'fair' is fine, but things never work out like that. The world IS full of injustice, liars, deception and insincerity. Following the rules of a corrupt system corrupts the individual, especially those who feel that follow the rules is the only way to go.
We follow the rules that are convenient - not those they want us to follow. We have no obligation to do so, and we don't feel bound by them. Which can always be percieved as a good or bad thing- depending on which side of the virtual fence you're siding on.
But.... we don't rely on others to boost our own image or to identify ourselves with.. so, their opinions don't matter either. Ah, to be free
It's like the Hackers Manifesto -but for the all the INTJ's in the world
Excellent collective website!
"The world IS full of injustice, liars, deception and insincerity."
And given that as fact, I think the only sensible thing to be is the worst. Unless humans evolve into a mechanical state of being, we will never rise above our origins. And why strive to? Life is too short to try and change the world - you won't live long enough to appreciate your efforts. ..And once you're gone, history proves that charity is in vain.
Sure there are people who really are truly innocent of this, but they are so few and far in between. Counting on the minority to outshine the collective is like trying to overpower a metallic fire with water. It LOOKS like it may work, but it doesn't.
Sure, humans do have the natural survival instinct, but does that also mean that you have to dismiss moral codes? Does the world even still have any morality left? For the most part, no.
But, giving up your own moral ethics for society is just stupid. No sense in changing what you believe just to become confortmist. BUT, if you keep your code, but allow the discrimination of the world to just flow over you (or should I say under
"like water off a duck's back", right? OR does it follow through more like The Stig: "he sucks the moisture off a duck's back". Suppose both have the same result ^-^
As for charity? It changes the lives for those who really deserve it -but not the general population. Suppose it depends how tenacious you are and how long you can keep deluding yourself into believing that 'things will change'.
But in truth, I think the INTJ just solidifies the sincere truth... It's not how far you are willing to go to obtain power, but what you are willing to do keep it. We are survivors in a friggen war-ridden world. We survive, it's what we do.
